Pergolas
Add shade to your terrace, garden or the front of your business. We make our fixed, retractable and curved pergolas to the size of your space.
Fixed, retractable
or curved?
All three combine an aluminium frame with a roof cover. The difference is the roof shape and whether the cover opens. Choose by whether you want the same shade all day or the option of open sky.
Exact measurements and specifications are finalised after the site survey.

All three cover a terrace. The difference is what the roof is made of and whether the sides are closed.
A fabric or membrane cover on top, open sides. A light structure, built for shade and rain protection.
A pergola's sides can also be closed with zip screens or glass panels.
Where it
works
A pergola makes an outdoor space usable all day without turning it into a closed room. The right model depends on how you use the space.

Frequently asked questions about pergola systems
If you want the same shade all day and never need open sky, a fixed pergola is enough. If you want to use the space both in shade and in the open, choose the retractable pergola. If a soft curve suits your façade better than straight lines, look at the curved pergola.
A pergola usually has a fabric or membrane cover; on retractable models it folds back. A bioclimatic roof uses aluminium louvres that rotate on their own axis; when they are tilted open, you keep the shade while warm air escapes upwards. A pergola is the lighter structure; a louvered roof behaves more like a rigid roof.
That depends on the cover and the slope. The cover type is chosen per project. With the right slope, water runs into the gutter and is drained from there; with too little, it can pool on the cover. Moisture on the underside in cold weather is usually condensation, not a leak.
On a retractable pergola, wind load is highest with the cover extended, so retract it before a storm. Once retracted, only the aluminium frame carries the load. Covered pergola systems are not designed to carry snow: retract the cover before snowfall and never force it when frozen. Rain and wind sensor options are assessed per project at the site survey. We look at the wind conditions at your site during the survey.
Width and projection, the model, wall-mounted or freestanding installation, the number of posts, cover and frame colour, profile bending on the curved model, and site conditions. The exact price is based on measurements taken on site.
Tell us the type of space, rough dimensions and whether the pergola will be fixed to a wall. Our team then books a visit to measure on site and check the floor, the wall and where rainwater will drain. The quote is based on these measurements.
Alterations to the exterior of an apartment building may require approval from building management or co-owners; we review this together at the site survey.
Clear leaves and dust from the gutters and drain outlets, especially in autumn. Wipe aluminium surfaces with warm water and a soft cloth. On a retractable pergola, don't leave a wet cover folded for long; letting it dry extended reduces the risk of mould.
