This notice explains, pursuant to Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu, "KVKK"), how your personal data are processed when you visit our website cammekan.com, use the quote wizard or the contact form, or correspond with us via WhatsApp.
1.2 What data do we process, for what purposes and on what legal grounds?

Refusing or withdrawing your explicit consent does not affect the receipt of, or the response to, your quote request. If other people appear in the images you send, you must inform them.
1.3 Method of collection
Your personal data are collected electronically, partly by automated means, through the quote wizard and the contact form, WhatsApp correspondence, e-mail, telephone and cookies (including those that depend on your consent).
1.4 To whom are your data transferred and for what purpose?
- Forwarding your request: Your form submissions and quote requests are forwarded to Başaran's corporate e-mail account and to the WhatsApp account used by authorised staff so that they can be answered.
- Service providers (data processors): For hosting the website, providing the e-mail service and, where you have given consent, providing the analytics (Google, Microsoft) and map (Google) services, only to the extent necessary for these services.
- Message Management System (İleti Yönetim Sistemi, "İYS"): Your consent to commercial electronic messages and your opt-out notifications are recorded in the İYS as required by Law No. 6563 and the related Regulation.
- Competent public authorities and bodies: Upon a lawful request and to the extent required by law.
- Transfers abroad: The servers of Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Maps), Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) and WhatsApp LLC (WhatsApp), as well as those of our hosting and e-mail service providers whose servers may be located abroad, are located outside Türkiye (mainly in the US and the EU). Cookie and device information, IP address, page usage data and (for WhatsApp) your phone number and the content of your correspondence are transferred to these providers for the purposes set out above. These transfers are carried out by signing the standard contracts announced by the Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu) pursuant to Article 9(4)(c) KVKK and notifying them to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
1.5 Retention period
Your personal data are retained according to the criteria below; at the end of the period they are erased, destroyed or anonymised:
- Quote and contact requests: If your request is concluded without a contract being entered into, for the applicable limitation period, in view of possible disputes. If a contract is entered into, for the periods prescribed for commercial books and records by the Turkish Commercial Code (Türk Ticaret Kanunu) and the Tax Procedure Law (Vergi Usul Kanunu).
- Consent to commercial electronic messages: Until you withdraw your consent. After withdrawal, for the period prescribed for consent and opt-out records by the legislation on commercial communications.
- Website security logs: For as long as the security purpose requires.
- Cookie data: For the period stated for each cookie in the table in the Cookie Policy.
- WhatsApp correspondence: Depending on the outcome of your request and in accordance with the quote/contract criteria above.
1.6 Your rights
Under Article 11 KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data are processed; request information about such processing; learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data are used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data are transferred; request the rectification of your data if they are incomplete or inaccurate, request their erasure or destruction within the framework of Article 7 KVKK, and request that these operations be notified to the third parties to whom your data have been transferred; object to an outcome to your detriment resulting from the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems; and claim compensation if you suffer damage as a result of unlawful processing.
Applications: You may submit your requests (i) by a petition bearing your wet-ink signature, delivered by hand or by post to our address above, (ii) signed with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature, to cammekan@basarancam.com.tr, or (iii) from the e-mail address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our system, to cammekan@basarancam.com.tr. Your application must state your name and surname, (for written applications) your signature, your Turkish identity number (for foreign nationals: nationality and passport/ID number), your address for service, your e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers (if any) and the subject of your request. Your request will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest from the date on which it reaches us. If the written response exceeds 10 pages, a fee of 1 TL may be charged for each additional page; if the response is provided on a recording medium such as a CD or flash drive, a fee equal to the cost of the recording medium may be charged. If your application is rejected, you find the response insufficient or no response is given in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board under Article 14 KVKK.
1.7 For visitors in the EU / EEA
In addition to the information above, the following information is provided in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR").
- Controller: The controller is Başaran. Its contact details are set out in section 1.1.
- Purposes and legal bases:
- Quotes and pre-contractual steps: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- General correspondence and website security: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Legal obligations: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, maps and marketing: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. For cookies, Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy Directive) and the national provisions of your country also apply.
- Legitimate interests: Where processing is based on legitimate interests, our interests are to respond to your request and to ensure the security of our website.
- Recipients: Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Maps), Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity), WhatsApp LLC (Meta) and our hosting and e-mail service providers. See also section 1.4.
- Transfers to third countries: The controller is established in Türkiye. There is no European Commission adequacy decision in respect of Türkiye. Your data are collected directly from you and reach the controller in Türkiye. They are also transferred to providers in the United States. These transfers are based on the relevant providers' certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Retention period: The retention periods and the criteria used to determine them are set out in section 1.5.
- Your rights: You have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and the right to data portability. You may exercise these rights using the contact details in section 1.1.
- Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
- Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your EU member state of residence (for example, in France the CNIL, www.cnil.fr; in Germany the competent Landesdatenschutzbehörde (state data protection authority)).
- Provision of data: If the mandatory fields in the form are not completed, we cannot prepare a quote.
- Automated decision-making: No automated decision-making takes place.
